This event will be held from Wednesday, November 17th – December 11, 2021. Individuals, businesses, schools and organizations decorate a tree, wreath, and/or centerpiece and donate the decorated item to the silent auction benefitting the Taneytown History Museum. The History Museum held the first Holiday of Trees in December 2006 as a fund raising event to benefit the museum. The event has expanded to include wreaths and centerpieces. The decorated items will be on display in the lobby of NWSB Bank, a Division of ACNB, 222 East Baltimore Street, Taneytown, Md. All items will be voted on by the public.
Viewing, voting, and silent auction hours are as follows: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. – 12 Noon; Saturday, December 11th, closing date, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Closed Thanksgiving Day.
Winning bids will be announced at 11:30 a.m. December 11th and must be picked up and paid for that day by 12:30 p.m.
