TANEYTOWN HISTORY MUSEUM OFFICIALLY OPENS FOR 2021 WITH NEW EXHIBIT

Taneytown History Museum will open Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM with a new exhibit “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”. The exhibit features a glimpse into Taneytown area baseball/softball from 1890 to the present, and the development of Taneytown Memorial Park. The exhibit is dedicated to the memory of George B. Crouse (3/14/1940 – 4/2/2008) co-founder of Taneytown History Museum.
There will be a special space to share “a copy” of team pictures. Be sure to bring a “copy” as it is not possible to return photos.
For the safety of our volunteers and visitors face covering is required if you are not fully vaccinated. Based on current CDC, Maryland and local guidelines, individuals who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are not required to use face covering while visiting in the museum.
Museum Hours after June 26 as follows: Friday’s 10 am to 1 pm; Saturday’s and Sunday’s 1 to 4 pm. Private tours are available.
